It was the first activity that was carried out in the classroom, which had to be translated into Spanish and establish the year of its creation. 

VERB TO BE (PAST)

In the past tense, the verb to be is divided into:

  WAS   Y    WERE
   I         They
    He         you  
  She         we 
It          

To transform the verb to be into the past, we simply have to change the verb forms.For example
